Since the sprayer needs little maintenance, following the steps below will help extend its lifespan:
Do not keep the sprayer pressurized after finishing your spraying job. Release the pressure through the nozzle by depressing the trigger, into a suitable container for reuse or disposal.
Flush the system: Pour approximately 1/2 gallon of fresh water into the tank. Pressurize and flush the pumping system by pressing the trigger for at least 2 minutes, then drain all remaining water.
Clean straps: Carrying straps are made of non-absorbent materials. In case of solution spillage, wash them with fresh water to prevent skin irritation.
Chemical precautions: A unit that has been used with herbicides should never be used to spray insecticides unless it has been thoroughly cleaned and neutralized.
Always follow chemical use instructions provided by the manufacturer to avoid accidents and ensure effective use.
Storage: Keep your sprayer clean, empty, and dry, stored in a cool, sun-protected place.
To keep your sprayer in good condition it is necessary to oil the following parts:
Nozzle O-rings, gun o-rings, piston ring, gasket, breather valve, and cap gasket.
Rinse with clean water internally and externally to avoid contamination.
When performing maintenance, it is recommended to replace all O-rings and gaskets, including:
Shut-off valve gaskets
Nozzle gaskets
Breather check
Cap gasket
