Loosen clamping knob (A)

Pull locater pin (B) and rotate ¼ turn counterclockwise to
lockout position.

Remove attachment.

Remove coupler from upper drive shaft assembly by
loosening clamping screw (C) and removing set screw (D).

Remove upper flex cable (E), wipe clean, and apply a thin coating of 15 ml (0.5 oz.) of grease.

Install cable. Make sure that the flex cable fully engages into the clutch square drive socket.

Slide coupler on upper drive shaft until fully seated, and align set screw hole in coupling with hole in upper drive shaft.

Install and tighten set screw (D), and tighten clamping screw (C).

Loosen screw (B) and remove locating screw (C). Pull gear
case and shield from drive shaft housing.

Pull flexible cable (D) from the drive shaft housing, wipe clean and re-coat with 15 ml (0.5 oz.) of grease.

Slide the flexible cable (D) back in the drive housing. DO NOT get dirt on the flex cable.

Install the gear housing and shield assembly.

Clean all loose debris from gear
case.

Remove plug (A) and check level of grease.

Add grease if necessary. DO NOT over-fill.
