Engine will not start or starts and runs poorly

Try this solution

Try the following

  1. Fill crankcase to proper level

  2. Clean or replace air filter

  3. Fill fuel tank

  4. Drain gas tank and fill with fresh fuel

  5. Connect wire to the spark plug

  6. Replace the spark plug

  7. Drain gas tank, fill with fresh fuel

  8. Open choke fully and crank engine

Possible causes:

  • Low oil level

  • Dirty air filter

  • Out of gasoline

  • Stale gasoline

  • Spark plug wire not connected to spark plug

  • Bad spark plug

  • Water in gasoline

  • Over choking
