1 year or more | - Drain fuel from the carburetor. <br> - Remove spark plug. <br> - Drain gasoline from tank and dispose of in a suitable container according to state and local ordinances. <br> - Put a tablespoon of engine lubricant into the spark plug cylinder. Turn the engine slowly with the pull rope to distribute the lubricant. <br> - Reinstall spark plug. <br> - Change engine lubricant. <br> After removal from storage: <br> - Fill with fresh gasoline. |
NOTE: If storing gasoline in a suitable container for later use, make sure gasoline has been treated with fuel stabilizer according to stabilizer manufacturer’s instructions.
