Make sure the bar and chain are free from any obstruction when starting the chainsaw

Move chain brake lever (A) fully forward to the lock position.

Fill the fuel tank with fuel mixture. Do not overfill.

Fill the chain oil tank with lubricant. Do not overfill.

Push purge bulb (A) three to five times or until fuel is visible in the bulb.

Pull choke control knob (B) all the way out to the closed position.

◆ Fast idle latch condition - After choke control knob is pulled and then knob is returned to original position, throttle remains slightly open. ◆ The chain will attempt to move when engine is started with fast idle throttle latch engaged. ◆ Do not start engine before chain brake is locked.

Securely hold the chainsaw and pull starter handle several times until first starting sound.

Push the choke control knob all the way in to the open position

Pull starter handle to start the engine.
Do not pull starter rope out to the maximum possible position. Do not allow recoil handle to snap back against the casing.

Note: If engine does not start after five pulls, repeat instructions
